The Scope of Procurement is to ensure that awarded ISP(s) provide secure statewide symmetrical high-speed internet services and other related services, listed below, to DoIT. The services are designated by either mandatory or desirable deliverables and will follow that format throughout this RFP and subsequently awarded Price Agreement(s). Mandatory Services; Contractor/s will provide, support and be responsible for the services listed below: 1. High-speed Internet Service as a Direct Connection; 2. Service Locations to the list in Section IV.C.2 Service Locations; 3. Internet Service Support and Monitoring; 4. Outage Notifications; and 5. Support for ISP services. Desirable Services; Contractor/s may provide the desirable services listed below: 1. Value-added ISP services; 2. Prevention Solutions to Stop Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attacks; 3. Possible Future Service Locations; Exclusions; The purchase or sale of the following items are not included in the scope of this RFP. 1. Construction services; 2. Tangible goods; and 3. Equipment, hardware, and software.
