SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor will remove 358 existing chairs from the Ritz Theatre, install the fixed new auditorium chairs with art deco cast iron aisle ends, along with front and rear mounted cupholders. The removal of the chairs would include the breaking of the existing chair anchor bolts and the patch of the floor. All federal ADA requirements would be required to be met regarding the equipment installation. The chairs would be a square profile 34” tall padded and upholstered back with minimum 2” foam and injection molded poly rear panel and composite seat pan. Seats shall have a minimum of 3-1/2” thick molded foam suspended by five steel serpentine springs that are mechanically fitted to the seat pan. The fabric shall be Valdese, Banks / Gothic. The chairs would have a welded steel platform with standard powder coat and plastic finishes and crescent shaped solid maple wood armrests. The chair would specifically be designed for the theatre environment and meet Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
