Awarded Contractor shall mow and line-trim lots in accordance with the specifications listed below. Please note that the timelines established for mowing and invoicing on this contract are of the utmost importance. It is imperative that the awarded Contractor(s) comply with these terms. The geographical location for South-County (Punta Gorda) shall be considered South of the Peace River. The Mid-County (Port Charlotte) geographical location shall be North of the Peace River and East of the Myakka River. The West-County (Englewood) geographical location shall be West of the Myakka River. 1. Awarded Contractor will be notified by the County in writing (e-mail) when a property requires mowing. A list of Code Compliance Officers information will be provided upon award. Please note that the majority of requests will be during the traditional growing season and the awarded Contractor(s) can expect up to 8-10 requests per day or more for mowing of properties throughout various areas of the County during the months of July, August, September, and October, and will be required to handle such demands from the County. 2. Awarded Contractor(s) shall be required to have mowing completed within 72 hours after initial contact by the County. 3. Equipment must be sufficient to cut grass/weeds in excess of twelve (12”) inches down to a height of no more than three (3”) inches. 4. Contractor(s) shall remove all litter from the property prior to mowing. This will include the removal and legal disposal of any litter that could become a projectile, or softer material that could be shredded and scattered by the mower.
