Replace the existing HVAC system with an all-electric VRF system. Provide professional services for all phases of design, bidding, and construction. The A/E fee will be negotiated with the top ranked applicant upon selection based on qualifications of the proposed team relative to their experience with similar projects. Services shall include evaluation of existing conditions, review of recommended options for system upgrades, preparation of anticipated costs for construction, analysis of costs relative to accessibility triggers per 521 CMR, and preparation of construction documents in conformance with MGL Chapter 149 procurement regulations. The A/E team will assist the Awarding Authority with bidding and evaluation of contractors followed by construction administration services. The project budget for the work as established by the Town is $500,000 including fees and contingencies.
