A. The vendor shall perform quarterly fire alarm inspections in accordance with RI Fire Alarm Laws and Rules. Each inspection shall include 25% of all peripheral devices, i.e., pull stations, smoke detectors, thermo-detector, beam detectors, duct detectors, audio visual units, and all auxiliary control functions. These inspections shall include complete diagnostics of the JCI Simplex 4100 series and 4005 series, Mircom, Edwards, and other software-based fire alarm systems. B. At the conclusion of each inspection the vendor shall provide written test reports for each building indicating all equipment, devices, and auxiliary functions of the fire alarm system that was tested. Reports shall be mailed within ten (10) working days to the NBC and the local fire departments. C. Defective devices shall be noted and reported, at time of inspection, on the vendor's written test reports. Vendor may submit a written quote for the repair work but is not authorized to repair any device without NBC authorization. NBC reserves the right to request repair quotes from other qualified vendors. Any repair and follow-up work shall be authorized and coordinated with the designated site coordinator.
