The project proposed under this ad is for the study, design and construction of a new regional NG 9-1-1 emergency call center and site on the CCCC Campus for the BCSO. It will address at leastseventy-five percent of the County's public safety communications needs and, at the same time, become a “Center for Excellence” for telecommunicator’s professional development taking advantage of a potential partnership with CCCC. Careful consideration of security and telecommunication needs as well as maintaining the operations of CCCC must be a priority. The anticipated scope for this project includes a new building for BCSO’s NG 9-1-1 Emergency Call Center that is expected to be in the range of 12,000 – 15,000 GSF. It also includes the provision of parking for staff as well as Training Center event attendees and a telecommunications tower.
