Pre-Move Services • Conduct a site visit and walkthrough of all pick-up and drop-off locations. • Work with NOLA-PS Asset Management staff to confirm inventory lists. • Provide a detailed move plan and timeline. • Supply all necessary packing materials, crates, labels, and equipment. • Tag and label all items for organized transport and delivery. 2. Packing and Preparation • Disassemble furniture and equipment as needed. • Pack, wrap, and protect fragile items (e.g., computers, monitors, glass). • Ensure proper handling of technology and sensitive assets. • Securely pack small items into labeled boxes/crates. 3. Transportation • Load all assets using appropriate equipment (dollies, lifts, trucks with lift gates). • Transport assets to the new site(s) using secure, insured vehicles. • Provide a chain of custody record for all assets transported. 4. Delivery and Installation • Unload assets and place them in designated rooms or locations per NOLA-PS floor plans. • Reassemble furniture and equipment as required. • Remove all packing materials and debris from the site. 5. Post-Move Services • Provide a final asset verification checklist to NOLA-PS. • Report any missing, damaged, or non-transportable items. • Conduct a post-move walkthrough with NOLA-PS staff for approval.
