4.1 SCOPE OF WORK The awarded vendor shall provide medications, medical supplies, and diagnostic tests used in the routine and emergency veterinary care of animals housed at the Animal Shelter. The vendor must supply products as requested by the shelter’s staff. All products must be new, unused, and compliant with applicable federal and state veterinary regulations. A. OBJECTIVES The objective of this IFB is to select a qualified vendor to provide high-quality medications, medical supplies, and diagnostic tests that support the Animal Shelter’s mission of delivering timely and appropriate medical care to animals in its care. The contract will establish a reliable source for these essential items, promote cost-effective purchasing, and ensure that shelter medical staff have the resources necessary to maintain animal health and welfare.
