1. Contractor shall furnish and install all parts and components that are manufactured and/or approved by the Original Equipment Manufacturer unless otherwise specified in this agreement. 2. Contractor shall provide qualified service and repair technicians that are A.S.E. certified (or equivalent) to perform all services and/or repairs to Caterpillar Engines under the terms of this agreement in the manner specified and in accordance with the manufacturers’ specifications. 3. Contractor shall perform all repairs and services to Caterpillar Engines and/on-board specialized equipment included in the original specifications of the manufacturer, in a manner approved and endorsed by the OEM manufacturer. 4. Contractor shall provide safe and acceptable storage for equipment kept overnight for repairs. 5. Contractor shall provide a six (6) month warranty period for parts and labor on all repairs and services perform in their facility. 6. Contractor shall honor all manufacturers’ warranties and/or recalls on parts and components installed. 7. Provide on-site repairs and/or services (if practicable) on warranty repairs/services, emergency repairs and/or diagnostic services at the hourly labor rate quoted on bid. 8. Contractor shall provide repairs estimates before repairs are authorized. 9. Approval for repairs and/or additional repairs must be obtained from the Equipment Maintenance Division, City of New Orleans, before repairs are to begin. 10. Provide on-site (if practicable) warranty repairs/services, emergency repairs and/or diagnostic services at the hourly labor rate quoted on bid. 11. Contractor shall also provide authorized factory warranty services for new/rebuilt transmissions installed by the contractor.
