Mental Health Crisis/Urgent/After Hours Support – The ability to provide support to students, faculty, and staff. Service should be available 24 hours / 7 days per week to provide direct telephonic quality mental health support, and to connect callers to local resources real-time. Other considerations include: Ability to provide follow-up reports to the appropriate MSU mental health team in a timely manner. Ability to provide a utilization dashboard and statistical data as needed. Ability to provide direct services on a platform other than telephone, such as through text messages (preferred, not necessarily required). On-Demand Telehealth Mental Health Support – The ability to provide timely, short-term counseling support to students as requested. This service will be used to augment the service that is currently available to students. Other considerations include: Diversity of the counseling staff. Session platform (ease of use, reduction of barriers for access, etc.). Availability of sessions outside of traditional business hours (i.e., weekends, after 5:00, early mornings). Ability to provide a utilization dashboard and statistical data as needed. Additional Services Desired – UHW is evaluating the potential to expand support to our campus community through the addition of a variety of supplemental programs. Include details on the ability to provide the following services: Health and/or Wellbeing Coaching Psychiatry services / medication management Basic needs assessment and assistance
