1. Work: Project includes replacing the existing condensing unit and AHU-1 evaporator coil at the Anacortes Public Safety Building and replacing with a new 70-ton air-cooled condensing unit and evaporator coil. The Scope of Work includes: a) Remove and dispose of one existing condensing unit and AHU-1 evaporator coil in an environmentally correct manner b) Furnish and install a new 70-ton air-cooled condensing unit c) Furnish and install a new evaporator coil in the air handler (AHU-1) to match the capacity of the new condensing unit d) Provide crane and lifting equipment rental to hoist demolished equipment and set new equipment e) Furnish and install new refrigeration piping and supports f) Perform line voltage electrical including removing existing disconnect and installing a new 250V rated, 400A 3ph, fused disconnect, all mounting hardware for new electrical equipment, grounding of new electrical equipment, conduit and wire for new condensing unit, receptacles for servicing new condensing unit, and required supports g) Reuse existing controls h) Performing check, test, and startup of new equipment to ensure correct operation i) At the completion of any installation of new equipment the Contractor shall provide to the City any O&M manuals and manufacturer’s warranty and extended warranty terms
