The successful Bidder will provide flexible, victim-centered Restorative Justice Services that will include Case Evaluation and Intake. Restorative Justice Services Receive and evaluate court referrals for appropriateness for RJS, including the needs, risk, and safety of those who have been harmed and those who caused harm. Conduct meetings with participants, as necessary, to educate referred parties about RJS, restorative conferences, and circle processes. If case is inappropriate for RJS, the RJF shall provide prompt notification and explanation to the court. If case is appropriate for RJS, the RJF shall provide notification to the court including the projected time for completion of RJS. Case Management Prepare interested parties (harmed parties, parties who have caused harm, community members) to participate in the restorative justice process. Identify outside parties to be involved in the restorative justice process. Provide space in community settings to conduct restorative justice circles. Provide mechanisms to remind participants of the need to attend all restorative justice circles. Provide and coordinate culturally appropriate restorative justice circles that will include those who caused harm, those who were harmed (or surrogates), those impacted by harm (e.g., neighbors, relatives, etc.), and community members. Provide trained facilitators to facilitate restorative justice circles and to design (with the circle participants) case-appropriate tasks between circle meetings for person who caused harm. Facilitate any other necessary case-specific restorative justice processes. Work with individuals who were harmed, and who caused harm, and with the court, to locate other appropriate services and resources. Monitor implementation of agreements and plans of repair and accountability. Provide case supervision to ensure appropriate, restorative processes are being followed. Provide other supportive services as requested by the EOTC, such as support circles, accountability circles, conflict coaching, and facilitating the development of plans of repair. Case Reporting Maintain organized system of case management to track intake and progress of referred cases. Upon an individual's completion of, or termination from, the RJS process, provide a written report to the referring court about the case activity, case outcomes, and involved parties’ satisfaction. Provide periodic progress updates to the referring court on the status of RJS in specific cases. Collect and provide data as requested re: outputs, outcomes, and other benchmarks as agreed.
