Cherokee County is seeking an experienced, qualified vendor to replace the roof at the Cherokee County Emergency Operations Center, located at 213 Alma Street in Gaffney, SC. Scope of Work – Flat Roofs Only; The Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and permits (if any are required) to complete the below referenced project based on the following scope of work: • Tear off all existing roofs down to substrate. • All concrete deck roofs to be fully adhered • All metal deck roof decks can be mechanically fastened or fully adhered. • R-Value of all roofs to minimum R23.6 (4”) • Taper Iso at gutters and drains. • 60 mil roof membranes minimum. TPO or PVC • Walk pads at all roof hatches, RTU’s, Mechanical Units, and AC Units • Replace all gas pipelines supports. Paint gas lines with new yellow. • Provide Per SF price to replaced bad or damaged metal decking. • Gutters/Downspouts to remain. • All coping/wall flashing to be replaced. 24G • 24G Coated metal drip edge required at all gutter terminations • Provide 20-year manufacturer warranty. • All trash to be removed from the job site. • PPE to be used during the entirety of the job. • Contractor is responsible for field verifying measurements, existing roof thickness and material type. Note: Some roofs are not structurally sloped. • Contractor must have an active valid S.C. commercial roofing license and GL/Workers Compensation insurance.
