It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Division of Fleet Management to establish a contract for the removal of a self-contained hydraulic, air, and generator unit and install a new hydraulic, air compressor, and power inverter onto a City supplied truck. The removal and installation costs will include all related components (wiring/control module/cab command hand controls/etc.). Upon delivery back to the City, truck shall have a fully operational hydraulic, air, and electrical systems as outlined in specifications below. CITY SUPPLIED PICKUP SPECIFICATIONS: One (1) 2020 Freightliner M2-112 Crew Cab, Knapheide work body, Hippo power plant T4F selfcontained power supply. All items listed below are to be supplied and installed by the successful bidder(s): Item No. 1: Removal of Hippo power plant T4F self-contained power supply • Complete removal of power supply unit from truck • Power unit must be able to be fully functionable after removal • Power unit connections shall be labeled before disconnecting from truck. • Existing hose reels, outlets, and valves shall be utilized with new systems. Item No. 1: Installation of new hydraulic, compressed air, and electrical systems. • Truck shall have installed a minimum of one (1) 160cfm Vanair UDSM underdeck compressor with aa 100/150psi option driven by a Muncie brand PTO on the drivers side of the transmission with XERO separation tank, fluid cooler on top of the saddle box behind cab. • VTECH 2 controller shall be mounted in rear curbside compartment. • System shall have discharge and injection check valve option installed on compressor due to location of separation tank. • Truck shall have a Muncie PTO on passenger side of transmission to operate a tandem hydraulic pump capable of 10gpm @2000 rpm per pump to accommodate two tool circuits...
