The new AV systems for the Central New Mexico Film School and Digital Media Center will provide a fully functional screening room, editing suites, and a presentation area. The buildout and infrastructure will have been completed prior to this phase; this scope pertains exclusively to equipment procurement, installation, and system integration. The post-production screening room will include a DCI compliant 4K projection system using a laser video projector and cinema package media server. A separate laser video projector will be provided for presentations and other content that does not require the media server and cinema projector. The immersive surround sound system is to be commissioned and certified by Dolby. Dedicated presentation loudspeakers are to be provided for uses that do not require the cinema audio system. The basis-of-design loudspeakers and components to support the cinema and presentation systems have been coordinated with Meyer Sound to meet the requirements of a Dolby theatrical mix studio. The basis-of-design audio mix position equipment has been coordinated with Avid to support multiple digital audio workstations simultaneously.
