The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, is accepting bids to purchase 2HP Grinder Pumps as a term contract (TC) on behalf of the Utilities Department. The following specifications describe the minimum requirements: Operating Conditions: Pump stall be 2HP, 230V, one (1) phase, 60Hz, and 3450RPM. The unit shall produce 30 U.S. GPM at 140ft total dynamic head (TDH). Shall not exceed 2HP. Construction: Each pump shall be of the sealed submersible grinder type. The pump volute, motor, and seal housing shall be high-quality gray cast iron. Cord shall be 30 ft. Shall be able to pump at least 30 GPM at 140 total dynamic head (TDH). Motor shall be single phase, oil-filled (includes overload protection in the motor and internally started). Shall be compatible with existing control panels in the City of Hot Springs System. Bolt-on pump stand is not allowed; needs to be part of the molding. Shall not have free free-floating cutter ring.
