To meet operational requirements, the flash X-ray (FXR) system must: • Include four (4) independent remote tubeheads o Two (2) each straight tubeheads o Two (2) each 90-degree tubeheads • Include 4 independent pulsers • Generate photon energies between 460 keV and 500 keV • Include a system to automatically and remotely set the pressure in the pulsers • Operate using pulsers that are pressurized with dry, compressed nitrogen or air • Include a dry compressed air supply system • Include a vacuum system for the remote tubeheads (roughing pump and ion pump) • Include two (2) conversion kits that allows two tubeheads to generate “soft” X-rays • Include spare anode and cathode replacements parts • Include at least twenty (20) X-ray computed radiography screens which: o Have an area at least 13” x 16” o Have a resolution of 110 μm/pixel or better • Include a scanner of equal or better resolution to the screens included • Include scanner operation software • Include at least sixteen (16) cassettes that fit the included screens • Include on-site installation assistance and training
