The Payroll Service (and any other payroll service if any) shall perform the following minimum duties as well as those prescribed by applicable law, subject to the review and approval of the Mayor and Council: A. Provide payroll services as requested by the mayor and council: B. Perform such duties as are prescribed by general law and ordinance: C. Work with Borough payroll department to administer bi-monthly payrolls, of approximately 150 payroll checks per period; including but not limited to the full payroll cycle from the inputting of data to the issuing of checks and reports. D. Increase effectiveness and efficiency of the borough’s third party payroll administration. E. Reduce the operating costs of the Borough F. Prepare, proof and submit, IROC Pension payments and reports on a timely basis, as per state regulations. G. Provide tax services inclusive of federal, state, disability reporting inclusive of 941, WC30, and other reports. H. Complete training to staff to insure proper implementation of software. I. Immediate one phone call response to provide assistance to staffing should any issue arise in the processing of payroll. J. Administer W2’s and other required documents. K. Administer worker compensation payroll entries to proof W2 for year-end accountability
