The proposed project consists of main line and lateral storm sewers along Wiltshire Drive, Lincolnshire Drive, and Londonderry Lane that connect to a proposed pump station that discharges into the Des Plaines. The size of the proposed storm sewer ranges from 12” to 60”. Key scope of work items includes removal, abandonment and installation of 12” water main via open cut and trenchless methods, relocation of a segment of the Lincolnshire Drive sanitary sewer to accommodate the proposed drainage improvements, pavement patching and full pavement reconstruction, construction of a pump station, relocation of an existing pedestrian path, and compensatory storage grading. The project involves wetland and floodway work permitted by the Lake County SMC; such work must adhere to the Lake County SMC permit requirements.
