The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE), Office of Career Readiness seeks qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, standardized, and nationally recognized curriculum software solution and associated services. The goal is to enhance digital literacy skills among adult learners enrolled in Adult Basic Education (ABE), High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), High School Diploma (HSD), and English Language Learner (ELL) programs statewide for Fifty-Four (54) sites. SCDE may increase or decrease the number of participating locations, and pricing will be adjusted accordingly. The curriculum software must: Be specifically designed for Adult Education learners in programs like Adult Basic Education (ABE), High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), High School Diploma (HSD), and English Language Learners (ELL). Be acutely aligned with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), The Office of Career, Technical Adult Education (OCTAE), College and Career Readiness (CCR) standards. Support Teaching the Skills That Matter (TSTM) digital literacy instruction framework. Have nationally recognized assessments, certification, and badges. Have online and comprehensive text-based instructional resources and modules that both teachers and learners can utilize in person, synchronously, and asynchronously. Explicitly address the following categories: computer, software, and daily life use of technology. Include assistive technology features. Generate statewide, program (location) specific, and student specific reports and data. Provide unlimited accounts per location (subscription). Have ability to create individual students accounts. The Vendor must have a curriculum being utilized in Adult Educations programs nationwide for a minimum of seven (7) years.
