Each vacant unit turnover will require a unique set of services. Contractors should not begin work on any unit until a specific scope of work for that unit has been received from the Housing Authority. Services performed outside of the specific unit’s scope of work shall not be invoiced. 1. Trash Removal Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and furniture located in the unit, including any garage, yard, or basement. Trash removal includes, but is not limited to, items left inside cabinets and closets. • Contractor shall provide any trash bags or other supplies for the process. • LMHA dumpsters and trash cans will not be used to dispose of items. • Contractor is cautioned against over filling vehicles and shall properly tie down all items to prevent injury or property damage. The removal of trash from units shall be done in a safe manner and not cause damage to LMHA property (for example, by dragging a sofa down a hallway and scratching the floor). Such damages may result in reduced payment to the contractor unless the contractor makes repairs acceptable to LMHA. 2. Janitorial Services The Contractor will clean and sanitize the unit. All surfaces must be wiped off or washed cleaned. This includes, but is not limited to, food, grease, webs, dust, dirt, insects, insect eggs, and feces.
