The City of Hoboken is soliciting bids for Maritime Park Improvements (Second Attempt). The scope of work includes demolition of any remaining features within Castle Point Skate Park, Hudson River Walkway paver walkway, site amenities, lighting, curbing, fencing, as well as bulkhead and railing within the project limits. Portions of the adjacent property owned by the City may be disrupted should the alternate be awarded for the establishment of a temporary learning nursery. A new proposed poured in place concrete Skate Park will be established, along with a Castle Point Plaza area, a re-established elevated Hudson River Waterfront Walkway within the project limits will be established. Should funding be available, a temporary learning nursery will be erected within the City property limits along Frank Sinatra Drive and proposed living shoreline will be constructed adjacent to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. Contractor shall be aware that adjacent improvements for Frank Sinatra Drive should be anticipated to be ongoing throughout the project duration of the Maritime Park Improvements (Second Attempt) Project and shall bid accordingly. Note that this contract has specific requirements pertaining to the Bidder’s qualifications and experience.
