Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to perform all operations necessary to install pavement markings, lane delineators, raised pavement markers, and other items in the bid form on various Metro roadways and/or paved areas. This work may be for maintenance of existing items or for new items. New items may include work for bikeways, traffic calming, or other work requested by Metro Departments. All pavement markings, delineators, and other associated items shall follow The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Standards, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) standards, and the Nashville Department of Transportation. standards. All painted/plastic pavement markings will be applied as shown in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) unless instructed by the Metropolitan Government of Davidson County (Metro).
