MOWING HEIGHT FOR MORATORIUMS/QUALITY AND BASIS OF ACCEPTANCE Vegetation shall be cut to a height between four (4) and five (5) inches. Mowing height of zero turn mower shall be four (4) inches on each side of median rail/cable. For cycles 2 and 3, the target mowing height shall be 8 to 10 inches. Areas of excess vegetation height for these cycles, not including seed stalks, should be considered compliant if the target mowing height is not achieved. Every effort should be made to meet the target mowing height and provide a neat appearance. This does not exempt the Contractor’s responsibility to remove, in a timely manner, any grass, brush, or debris deposited into the roadway, which includes travel lanes, shoulders, bulb-outs, ditches, and drainage structures, as a result of the Contractor’s operations, in order to eliminate any hazards.
