The awarded vendor will provide legal representation for the Secretary of State, in his official capacity, and the Office of the Secretary of State in federal and state litigation matters pertaining to the Office. Specifications, timelines and deliverables will be set by the pace in which any court proceeds and requires. Vendor must have adequate and qualified staff to respond rapidly and efficiently in representing the Secretary of State, in his official capacity, and the Office of the Secretary of State. The attorneys providing the services must be permitted to practice law and in good standing in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and maintain licensures, certifications, or other credentials, for the term of the agreement. Applicants should also be familiar with federal and state election laws.
