4.1 Vykon Security Access Solution and Aiphone The selected Contractor shall provide on-call services for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of the Vykon Enterprise Security System and the Aiphone system at various City of Raleigh facilities. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: System Maintenance & Support • At the request of the City of Raleigh, the awarded Contractor must also ensure regular updates and maintenance services for all installed systems. These services should be performed in accordance with the City’s standards and protocols while ensuring minimal disruption to the daily operations of the various facilities. • Troubleshoot and resolve system faults, alarms, and connectivity issues. • Coordinate and apply software patches and updates for all related devices, equipment, and servers in collaboration with the City of Raleigh IFS representative. Repair & Replacement Services • Diagnose and repair faulty components, including controllers, readers, door hardware, intercom systems, cables, and related devices. • Replace defective parts using City-provided equipment, unless otherwise authorized by the City of Raleigh IFS representative to include additional parts in the quote. • Provide emergency response services for critical access or communication failures. Personnel & Equipment Requirements • Furnish all necessary personnel, tools, materials, and transportation to perform the required services. • Ensure that all technicians assigned to the project are qualified, trained, and manufacturercertified for the Vykon Enterprise Security. System Expansion & Integration • Install and configure new access points or intercom stations as directed. • Support integration with other City security systems (e.g., video surveillance, alarms) when applicable. • Provide Niagara Milestone Device Drive Support.
