The Contractor shall remove all existing deck components, landscaping, metal railings, steps, railings, signs, concrete walkway and composite deck walkway. 1) CONCRETE CURBING FOOTER, CURBING, PADS AND DECK POST FOOTERS A. The Contractor shall excavate as necessary for a 1-foot-deep x 2-foot-wide concrete footer. The footer shall start 8-feet from the left side, facing the lake, where the existing steps are at the road. The footer shall be 6-inches below the asphalt roadway at the beginning, starting against the edge of the asphalt and going towards the lake side 2-feet. The footer shall be level for 25-feet, then continue to the existing concrete walkway pad following the slope of the road and remaining 6-inches below the top of the asphalt roadway. The Contractor shall install two #4-rebar continuous, horizontal, 8-inches apart and 3-inches from the bottom. The Contractor shall install #4-rebar for the curb 12-inches on center as noted (detail #2).
