Furnish, deliver, and install water purification systems and remote dispensing units, as specified herein, for the Department of Environmental Services, City and County of Honolulu. The water purification system and remote dispenser units will be used to purify water for various lab tests. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, delivery, and installation services necessary to fulfill the requirements specified herein. II. Minimum Specifications. A. Item No. 1: Type 1 Water Purification System 1. Water types: Type 1 and Type 2 Lab Water from potable tap water. a. Type I water: i. Resistivity: 18.2 mega ohms (“Mꭥ”)-cm. ii. Total organic carbon: 5 parts per billion (“ppb”) maximum. b. Type II water: i. Resistivity: 5 Mꭥ-cm minimum. ii. Total organic carbon: 30 ppb maximum. 2. Production rate: 5 liters/hour of Type 2 water. 3. Storage tank: a. Capacity: 50 liters. b. Filter: Integrated high-flow tank vent filter. c. Ultra Violet (“UV”)-lamp: Built-in sanitizing UV-lamp.
