Wearable Panic Alert Devices. The vendor shall supply approximately 17,500 individual wearable devices. Each device must meet the following criteria: A. Form Factor: Small, lightweight, and easily worn (e.g., as an ID badge, clip, or pendant). B. Activation: Clear, and easy-to-press button for immediate alert activation. C. Identification: Capability to individually assign and cross-reference an individual user so both location and user identity are known upon activation. D. Discretion: Must allow for silent alarm activation that does not immediately alert a potential aggressor. Badges shall not transmit a signal unless activated or administratively placed in lost mode. E. Connectivity: Must utilize a robust and reliable communication method (e.g., Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, and/or Cellular/LTE) with sufficient redundancy to ensure 100% coverage indoors and across all outdoor areas of LCPS campuses. F. Battery Life: Allow for user charging or battery replacement, with a minimum of 90 days of active battery life between charges. The system must be able to provide alerts for low battery and critically low battery status to system administrators. 3.2.Location and Tracking Technology. The system must provide highly accurate location data, to include the following: A. Indoor Positioning: The system must provide precision location tracking down to the room number or within a 5-meter radius inside all buildings. B. Outdoor/Campus Positioning: The system must be able identify location (e.g., geolocation technologies) to enable tracking of the device's location on LCPS school campuses and prevent off campus activations. C. Incident Tracking: At the system administrator level, the system must have the ability to simultaneously track multiple incidents at multiple different campuse
