County seeks to fill the position of Deputy Medical Examiner, a key role within the County’s medical and forensic operations. The position supports the Medical Examiner’s Office in providing forensic pathology services, determining causes and manners of death, and ensuring compliance with all relevant medical, legal, and ethical standards. County is seeking an executive search firm to conduct a comprehensive, specialized recruitment process to identify and secure highly qualified candidates for the Deputy Medical Examiner position. This includes assessing the County’s needs but not limited to, developing a detailed candidate profile, conducting nationwide outreach, and targeting professionals with the required medical licensure, forensic pathology expertise, and public-sector experience. The firm screens and evaluates candidates through credential verification, preliminary interviews, and background checks before presenting the most qualified finalists to the Webb County Commissioners Court. The selected firm shall represent Webb County and facilitate interview scheduling, manages candidate communications, and support negotiation and hiring to ensure a successful placement subject to final authorization by the Governing Body. Additional Services Apart from the basic services being requested by Webb County and as outlined in this RFP, County may require additional services to be performed by the selected firm as mutually negotiated prior to execution of a service agreement between both parties subject to approval by the Webb County Commissioners Court
