The County reserves the right to award portions of the Project to multiple vendors if it is in the best interest of the County. Although the Scope of Work is presented with various areas of requested products and services, Bidders do not need to provide each of the various products and services to be considered for award. Each qualified Bidder submitting a proposal may submit for any or all of the specified areas of products and services needed. The County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a shelf-ready opening day collection for a new branch library. The County will require the awarded vendor to ensure storing and delivery of materials can be met in a timely nature due to the building being completed in late summer or early Fall of 2026. The East Hall Library requires a collection of approximately 15,000 items for adults (approximately 50% nonfiction/fiction materials), and children (approximately 20% juvenile, 20% easy/early readers). A small percentage of materials (approximately 10%) will be allocated for Audio-visual materials (DVDs and audio books). The library system uses the Evergreen ILS through the PINES network managed by Georgia Public Library Service.
