The successful Respondent must have significant experience in providing legal services as Conflict Attorney to New Jersey municipalities and/or other New Jersey public entities. The position requires the Respondent to be a licensed attorney in the state of New Jersey. The Respondent must have significant experience representing New Jersey municipalities as a Conflict Attorney, General Counsel and/or Corporate Counsel and litigation. In the event of a conflict of interest of the Borough Attorney, at the direction of the Governing Body, the successful Respondent will provide the Borough with legal guidance and representation relating to, but not necessarily limited to the following: performing legal research and providing advisory opinions as needed; representing the Borough in federal and state courts as well as administrative forums.
