The Financial Advisor shall perform the following minimum duties as well as those prescribed by any applicable laws and ordinances: 1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a financial advisor with municipal market knowledge and expertise. 2. Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, including making recommendations and performing the activities related to the issuance of debt and maintenance of the Township’s credit rating. 3. Review and evaluate the Township’s existing capital financing plans and determine whether current borrowing strategy needs to be amended. 4. Assist the township in reviewing opportunities to refinance and restructure its existing debt in order to reduce costs or to otherwise implement the Township’s financial objectives. 5. Design or actively participate in the design of debt structure. 6. Assist in developing capital financing for equipment and other assets. 7. Develop financial analyses and special reports as requested. 8. Provide advice and services related to the sale of bonds and notes. 9. Advise on methods of debt sales (where appropriate). 10.Recommend timing of bond sales. 11.Identify tasks, responsibilities and dates for completing activities leading up to bond sales. Assist with coordinating all tasks associated with a sale, including preparation of the offering statement.
