A. MCA vendor must open electrical panels and, in some cases, start and stop the equipment. B. None of the evaluation technologies utilized by the MCA vendor require the shutdown of any specific piece of equipment without prior approval from NBC. C. Due to the necessity of equipment starts and stops and the opening of electrical panels, the NBC Facilities Maintenance Manager will assign a maintenance and/or NBC Representative to accompany the MCA vendor during the evaluations. D. Per NBC request 15kV rated cable shall not be tested at more than 20kV, dc for 133% polyethylene Insulation Level. E. Vendor shall use NBC Equipment Nomenclature System (Hansen) where provided. (See “Attachment No. 1” Equipment Lists) F. Vendor shall affix an inspection tag on each piece of equipment tested, indicating; Company Name, Date tested and initials of testing representative. G. NBC reserves the right to consider proposals for general & emergency repairs – repairs as required bringing electrical equipment back online and restoring to proper working order from the bid award vendor. Charges for general and emergency repairs to the systems will be on a time and material basis, with a written scope of work to be mutually agreed upon by the NBC and the vendor. H. NBC has included, as part of bid documents, a One-Drive link with line drawings, equipment lists, and NBC facilities for vendors’ use.
