The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as described. The project will be delivered as a turnkey installation, ready for public use upon completion. All work shall comply with applicable ASTM, CPSC, and ADA standards for playground safety and accessibility, as well as all local codes and permitting requirements. Design Elements • Two distinct ADAAG-compliant playground structures: • Structure 1 (Ages 2–5): Designed for early childhood development with lower deck heights, slide, sensory-rich play panels, and transfer points for accessibility. • Structure 2 (Ages 5–12): Designed for older children with ramp accessibility, higher climbing features, slides, net climbers, and interactive play zones. • Ground-level sensory panels and activity components • Use of existing site elevations to integrate a hillside slide feature along with hillside climbing features. 27 Stand Alone Equipment • 2 Bay single post configuration w/tot arm • 2 Spinners (one large-over 10’ diameter, one small) • Rope climber • Surface mount musical instruments • Preferred material: Durable metal construction with high-quality powder coating and UV-18 or better plastics Site Work and Installation The contractor will be responsible for: • Site grading as required to prepare for equipment installation and drainage improvements • Installation of an appropriate drainage system to support poured-in-place surfacing • Installation of concrete curbing, 5’ sidewalk around entire playground parameter, sidewalk connections, and any related site infrastructure necessary for ADA compliance • Installation of poured-in-place rubber surfacing across all play zones • Coordination with Park staff to maintain alignment with existing site elevations and design intent
