The Contractor shall provide towing services, and roadside service calls for Countyowned, leased, or maintained vehicles. All towing and related services shall be performed on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of minimum usage or service volume. The County reserves the right to engage alternate towing service providers when deemed necessary. Tow operators must possess the knowledge and capability to safely disconnect driveline components and must be equipped to perform minor roadside assistance. Operators must remove glass and other non-hazardous debris from the roadway at no additional cost to County. The Contractor is not responsible for the cleanup of hazardous materials requiring special equipment or response.
