The Borough of Roselle is requesting qualifications for Insurance Consultant/Broker Services for Medical Insurance. The insurance consultant/broker will be required to perform, but not limited to, the following services. Provide the Borough of Roselle with Healthcare/Medical insurance as brokers for the Borough. Services to be provided to the Borough of Roselle shall include but not be limited to the following: Firm must be responsible for negotiating annual renewal of existing coverage; Firm must prepare all necessary bid specifications and evaluate all bids that are received; Firm must assist the Borough in evaluating and settling employee grievances relating to health benefit issues; Firm must provide Borough Staff with reasonable preliminary renewal figures during the budget process; Firm must be available to attend Council meetings, Finance Committee meetings, budget meetings, negotiation meetings and other meetings whenever necessary; Firm must assist the Borough’s employee benefits and insurance specialist with required employee presentations; and Firm must have the ability to recommend cost projections for the alternative design of current health benefit programs.
