The Borough of Roselle is requesting qualifications for Redevelopment Counsel Services. The Borough of Roselle is required from time to time to call upon the services of outside counsel for matters relating to redevelopment projects in the Borough, including approvals, planning, negotiations, litigation and representation of the Borough, its officials/officers/directors and employees, and including eminent domain actions, abandoned property rehabilitation, acquisition of property, tax abatement negotiations and financing matters. Redevelopment counsel will, on an “as needed” basis, be assigned and required to provide representation in all aspects of redevelopment. Counsel may be called upon to attend meetings. Counsel may also be called upon to provide other types of legal services of a specialized nature.
