The City of Park Ridge requests proposals for curbside and alley residential solid waste collection services consisting of refuse collection, transportation for disposal to the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC), Glenview Transfer Station; curbside, alley or centralized location recycling collection and processing; and curbside or alley landscape waste collection and disposal. Solid waste services shall be provided to all single-family (detached), singlefamily (attached townhouse), two-family, and multi-family (apartments and condominiums) residences and the municipal facilities and courtesy trash receptacle locations in Park Ridge. Recycling services shall be provided for all single-family (detached), single-family (attached), two-family, and multi-family residences and at municipal facilities and public locations in Park Ridge. Combined landscape waste and food scrap collection services shall be provided for all single-family (detached), single-family (attached) and two-family buildings in Park Ridge. There is no limit on the amount of refuse, recyclables and landscape and food scrap waste accepted, however at a time designated by the City of Park Ridge, the City may require a supplemental sticker program set-up and operated by the Contractor. Solid waste, recycling, landscape and food scrap waste services from commercial and industrial establishments within the City are not included in this proposal.
