SPECIFICATIONS SHALL MEET OR EXCEED THE FOLLOWING: a) Four Stroke Outboard Motor, 250 HP with accessories: i) Examples: 2025 Suzuki DF250APX including controls and digital multifunction engine diagnostic gauge, 2025 Yamaha F250XB including controls and digital multifunction engine diagnostic gauge, or TPWD approved equivalent. ii) Quantity: (1) One (1) Engine type: shall be at least a six-cylinder, four stroke with original (right-hand) rotation. (2) Lubrication: wet sump oil lubrication. (3) Horsepower (HP): at the propeller shall be two hundred fifty (250) HP. (4) Full Throttle Range, RPM: approximate range from five thousand (5,000) and six thousand five hundred (6,500) Revolutions Per Minute (RPM). (5) Alternator Output: shall be minimum fifty (50) amperes (A). (6) Fuel Injection System: shall be delivered to the motor via Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). (7) Shaft: engine shall have a twenty-five (25) inch shaft. (8) Motor dry weight measured without propeller, engine oil, and gear case oil shall not exceed six hundred fifty (650) pounds. (9) Engine shall run on unleaded fuel with minimum octane of eighty-seven (87). Maximum ethanol content shall be ten (10) percent. (10) Motor shall be equipped with a multifunction digital gauge for monitoring engine RPM as well as other engine diagnostic information including engine overheating and low oil warnings.
