Replace two existing 36” diameter culvert with a 25’ wide bottomless arch on spread footing foundation. Raise Youngs River Road for approximately 474’ to accommodate the bottomless arch. Execution The project area is tidally influenced. Portions of the project can only be accomplished during low tides. Consideration of tides and tide levels must be reflected in project planning, scheduling, and construction. Clatsop County will close Youngs River Road for the duration of the project. County will provide and install all necessary signage and barricades. Contractor is responsible for communicating and working with all necessary utility companies. Clatsop County has obtained all the necessary regulatory agency permits. As per the permit requirements Clatsop County will install fish screens and perform fish salvage within the isolated work zone.
