Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.. Alpine School District has partnered with the Center for the Improvement of Teacher Education and Schooling (CITES) for many years through its long-standing collaboration with Brigham Young University. CITES provides a uniquely structured, research-based model of teacher training and professional learning that is not replicated by any other provider. While other programs exist, each operates with its own methodology, theoretical foundation, and area of emphasis. After evaluating available options, Alpine School District has determined that CITES remains the program most closely aligned with the District’s instructional goals, professional development priorities, and long-term educational vision. In addition, BYU is a major university located just 13 miles from the District Office, which offers a significant advantage for collaboration, access, and ongoing support.
