The vendor who delivers the Security Guard training program must: • Effectively deliver instruction for the Security Guard Training outlined in Schedule A, and as required by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). Instruction may be delivered virtually or on-site as determined by the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs. • Provide a student-centered environment, conducive to learning and engagement. • Abide by all WEOC student-related policies and academic procedures relevant to maintaining an effective and positive classroom environment. • Submit a syllabus or outline of instruction broken down by class session for review and approval at least three days before the scheduled start date for the program. • Provide copies of any and all credentials required for instructors by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice (DCJS) guidelines for Security Guard Training. • Submit, upon completion of the program, any and all documentation required by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) to ensure students qualify for NYS Security Guard Registration. • Supervise and assist students with completing the NYS Security Guard application form to register as a security guard. • Collect completed applications and proof of fingerprinting and submit same to New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) Licensing Services with required fees. • Supervise and assist students through the Security Guard online fingerprint appointment process, obtain choice date and appointment documentation, and pay third party fingerprinting service, Morpho D/B/A Identogo for each student’s fingerprinting...
