Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work contains the work needed to replace all the lower roofs and the gymnasium floor at Hunter College’s West Building. Any quantities or dimensions given in Exhibit 2 (Specifications & Drawings) are for the contractor’s convenience in bidding. However, all final measurements and quantities, and layout of the work are subject to the contractor’s verification in the field to accomplish the intended repairs and replacements at locations shown on the plans. This project includes: 1. All necessary and required Mobilization and Site Protection, including Sidewalk Sheds, Pipe Scaffolding, Netting, Hoists, related Site Safety Measures, and Equipment; 2. Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) Abatement as per specs, plans, and test reports; 3. Demolition includes masonry pavers, built-in masonry planters, soil removal, removing vines at the neighbor’s west wall, removing ramp and decking at the 3rd floor terrace, removing damaged ceiling tiles, indicated roofing removal (coordinated with ACM abatement), removal of topping slab at the 3rd floor, and removal of existing gymnasium wood flooring; 4. Concrete spall and crack repairs; 5. Concrete beam end repair, including reinforcement, limited reinforcement repairs; 6. Repitching, resurfacing, and screed repair at roof slabs; 7. Brick masonry repointing, limited face brick replacement, and brick parapet replacement; 8. Cold-formed metal framing for air shaft louver grille enclosure; 9. Steel roof guardrails at 4th floor, Triangular Roofs using no infill panel, see Design Option 1, detail 4 & 5 on drawing; 90 LF; 10. Treated wood blocking at copings
