1. Cleaning will include but not limited to exterior and interior of kitchen hoods, accessible ducts, fans and filters. 2. Any removed access panels are replaced and labeled with the date of inspection. 3. All hoods should be hand dried and polished with equipment being returned to its original position. 4. Air flow readings will be used to validate adequate draw. 5. Pilot lights must be relit if on at the start of the service. 6. All cleaning methods and chemicals used for cleaning shall be per manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. (Captive-Aire & Gaylord). 7. Waste water and chemicals used for cleaning roof mounted equipment must be captured and properly disposed of. No waste water or chemicals will be allowed to be discharged into roof drains or storm drainage systems. 8. Upon completion, a cleaning and inspection certificate will be applied to the hood(s). In addition, an electronic report indicating all work was performed or exceptions were found as required by NFPA 96. that include before and after pictures, audio notes and video will be sent to the designated contact to receive such report. 9. Provide 24-hour emergency service if needed. 10. Provide TCNJ personal the ability to login to a portal to see service history and upcoming appointments. 11. All work will be scheduled through the Facilities Department and Sodexo Dining Services.
