Services include maintaining compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) related regulatory oversight and technical support for 5-year review reporting, feasibility study (FS), proposed plan, remedy decision, remedial design, and remedial action work (CERCLA-protective activities). NDEP is using State authority under Nevada Water Pollution Control Law, mining laws, and hazardous waste laws, NRS 445A, NRS 519 and NRS 459, to perform regulatory oversight in a manner that is consistent with CERCLA and the National Contingency Plan (40 CFR 300). Because of the detailed and broad nature of ongoing and future support services required under this contract, a project-specific scope of work is not being provided at this time. Required services are on an “as needed” basis at the discretion of NDEP and are dependent upon the amount of site specific CERCLA-protective activities requiring technical support at the ACMS. NDEP will require the selected contractor and their subcontractor(s) to be fully prepared to initiate support services described below upon completion of the fully executed contract. Contracted tasks and expenditures will be negotiated on an individual scope of work basis.
