The Town of Windsor is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide engineering services to act as an extension of the Town’s staff and/or as a third-party review on matters related to 1. Land surveying 2. Geotechnical engineering including borings, analysis and pavement design 3. Structural inspection, analysis, and design 4. Traffic engineering including traffic count data, capacity analysis, reports, intersection design and signal design 5. Roadway and site engineering including drainage design 6. Development review of site engineering 7. Development review of stormwater/drainage/hydraulics 8. Development review of traffic engineering The Town anticipates selecting consultants of (at least but not limited to one) qualified professionals for each category to provide services over the contract period. Firms may select any number of categories for which they are qualified. Each category will be judged separately. If variations to this scope are suggested they should be clearly identified in the response submitted by the consultant. All work performed under the contract between the Town of Windsor and the firm shall be under the direction of professional engineers licensed by the State of Connecticut.
