Contractor shall install a complete guardrail at Tinsley Lane per the included TxDOT specifications. This includes all materials and labor costs. The Contractor shall be responsible for ALL works on the Project. A. Contractor shall perform most of the scope of work with their own hired staff. There may be, on occasion, some portion of the work that shall require the need to hire a sub-contractor to perform a portion of the work, this shall include, but not be limited to electrical work, specialty piping work, general construction work, and controls work. B. Should subcontracting be required, the Contractor shall first obtain written approval of Tarrant County (Owner) prior to any work being performed by a subcontractor. C. Subcontractors shall carry and maintain insurance coverages in accordance with those listed in this document. D. Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with all applicable National and Local Codes and Code Authorities. E. Contractor shall provide all materials, they shall be new, and free from defects. Contractor shall install all material in accordance with specifications. F. Contractor shall not proceed with substitutions of specified material; any propose substitution shall be submitted by Contractor within its bid and it must be approved in writing by Tarrant County representative during bidding stage. V. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The following describes the anticipated services expected during construction. Construction Services include all work associated with construction, and warranty. A. Construction Services Services include all normal services associated with the construction of the facilities for the project described. Specific items of consideration relative to the project are as follows, but are not limited to: 1. General: The Contractor shall coordinate the project to develop an orderly, controlled, construction effort in the agreed time frame. To discharge his responsibilities, the Contractor shall have a strong capability in best construction practices, budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling, purchasing, quality control, management, and labor relations.
