Employee Benefit Consulting and Insurance Brokerage Services. 1. The PCFACC currently provides actives and under 65 retiree health benefits through the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program (SHBP). The PCFACC also provides health benefits for non-SHBP eligible employees and retirees. The broker will be responsible for assisting the PCFACC with the selection and negotiation of benefit plan design renewals as requested for the following benefit programs: a. Medical, Prescription, Stop Loss for non-SHBP eligible actives and retirees b. Flexible Spending Accounts, COBRA administration, Retiree direct premium billing c. Dental, Vision hardware discount plan d. Voluntary Benefits; i.e. Life, Critical Illness, Disability e. Wellness Benefits f. Other benefit offerings at the discretion of the PCFACC 2. Provide benchmarking and industry information relative to employee benefits to include marketing and analysis compared to NJ SHBP 3. Provide and perform underwriting and claims data / utilization analysis. 4. Provide and cover cost of vendor / carrier management services / dedicated employee benefits platform 5. Ensure that the PCFACC’s plans and practices are compliant with related federal and state laws. 6. Assist and support all collective bargaining processes concerning employee benefit related matters. 7. Assist in the development and procurement of wellness services.
