The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information about Enterprise Document Management (EDM) software solutions (hereafter referred to as “Software”) to better serve Johnson County’s needs and to gain a clear understanding of the marketplace, vendors, solution functionality and pricing structures. Responses to this RFI may be used for budgeting and planning purposes only and will not result in a contract award. Johnson County is investigating potential vendors to provide EDM software solutions. The County is seeking solutions that provide efficient document workflows, ease of use for employees, compliance with records retention and security requirements, robust search and version control capabilities, comprehensive reporting for operational insights, and seamless collaboration across Johnson County’s DAO structure. The County also requires the ability to administer and configure the application internally, including adding and managing users, creating and modifying workflows, setting up new departmental implementations, and performing general system administration without vendor intervention.
